Legacy: Tom Rogers and Sally Anderson

Tom Rogers has been a pillar of Orange County United Way for more than 30 years. With a distinguished career at Security Pacific Bank, The Irvine Company, and City National Bank, Tom brings not only professional expertise but also a deep commitment to community. He was instrumental in securing Orange County United Way’s corporate headquarters and played a vital role in shaping the financial strategy that led to its full ownership. Today, he continues to lead as an advocate for the OC Way Campaign, helping to ensure essential services are accessible for individuals and families across Orange County.

Sally Anderson is a trailblazer in both business and philanthropy. As a former Managing Partner at Ernst & Young, she brought strong leadership and vision to everything she touched. Sally was a founding member of Orange County United Way’s Women’s Philanthropy Fund, helping to launch an initiative that has grown into one of the most impactful forces uplifting women and children in our community. Her early involvement laid the groundwork for a movement that continues to create lasting change in our community.

Together, Tom and Sally represent the very heart of what it means to leave a legacy. Their decades of service and generosity have helped shape a stronger, more connected Orange County for generations to come.

The Legacy Award is presented to individuals that not only epitomize the spirit of generosity, but also translate their philanthropic endeavors into deeply meaningful actions that span a significant period of time. Orange County United Way is proud to recognize Tom Rogers and Sally Anderson with the Legacy Award.
